"Leave the vanity to one side"

I am Oscar Baron and several years ago that imitate to Elvis with my band of Barcelona. My passion for Elvis was born in the year 73, when he was six years. My grandmother woke me up to see the 'Aloha from Hawaii' to broadcast satellite television and when I saw this gentleman in the white suit I was totally caught. Since then I became interested in the music of Elvis and all that surrounded him. Over the years I began to sing and I was lucky that my voice was similar to him.
Oscar Baron, during a show in Barcelona. I always was a rock, to 14 years and bore the Tupe, toe boots and jeans, but I started to dress like Elvis from the shows. As a copycat, what I have tried from the beginning is not just sticking to his figure, but his music does not do a modernized version or adapted, but do something like as possible to the original piece. Is also important to leave the personal vanity and realize that what we are doing is a tribute to an incomparable character.
I think that what we have and I like Elvis is the self, the spirit of sacrifice to not ever be happy with what is done well and have a degree of excess: the knowledge that you can always do better.
